Anne Baxter (1923–1985) was an Oscar- and Golden Globe-winning American actress known for her work in film, stage, and television. A granddaughter of architect Frank Lloyd Wright, she trained under Maria Ouspenskaya. Baxter starred in classics like The Magnificent Ambersons (1942), The Razor’s Edge (1946), All About Eve (1950), I Confess (1953), The Blue Gardenia (1953), and The Ten Commandments (1956). She also earned seven Photoplay Awards.
