Kara Hayward is an American actress best known for her lead role as Suzy Bishop in Moonrise Kingdom (2012), earning a Young Artist Award nomination. Raised in Andover, Massachusetts, she was cast in her first film through an open audition. Hayward also starred as Emily Parris in The Sisterhood of Night (2014) and played Iris Deerborne in To the Stars. She moved to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career after high school.
