June Edna Fairchild was an American dancer and actress known for her work as a Gazzarri Dancer on Hollywood A Go-Go and for co-creating the popular Statue dance. She appeared in films like Head (1968), Drive, He Said (1971), Pretty Maids All in a Row (1971), Thunderbolt and Lightfoot (1974), and Up in Smoke (1978). Despite early success, Fairchild struggled with addiction, leading to a decline in her career and homelessness later in life. She later achieved sobriety and lived quietly in Los Angeles until her death in 2015.
